Impactful pitching, interesting speeches, experienced professionals and a touch of sparkles and celebrations. This is what you can expect from the upcoming graduation ceremony of the first ever batch of EdTech Incubator Helsinki. The gala event, held on March 31st, showcases the first nine EdTech startups of the incubator program presenting their innovations in front of an audience.

The event is hosted by Oki Tåg, an experienced mover and shaker in the startup world, who has made a career for example as an entrepreneur, incubator advisor, and investor. The keynote speech will be provided by Jesper Ryynänen, Co-Founder and COO of GraphoGame, the winner of Global EdTech Startups Awards in 2021.

At the gala, the startups get the chance to pitch their innovations to a selection of investors, VIP:s and stakeholders. An international audience will also follow the show as the event is streamed live globally.

” I’m feeling spring fever and I’m looking forward to the gala event – what a spectacular opportunity for our startup! I expect to get some valuable insights and feedback from investors and different stakeholders, comments Becky Luoma, founder of Language Clubhouse”

Luoma believes that the company is ready to take it’s next steps towards larger investments and new markets. In addition to participation in the Incubator program, this has also been advanced by the events about funding and pedagogical impact organized at Helsinki Education Hub.

” A straightforward and clear strategy for the future, that’s what we are aiming to possess after the completion of the Incubator program. The goal for the company is to continue its’ growth, Luoma envisions.”
